Good salads. Good pizza-although way too pricey!

Great atmosphere, excellant food, fast friendly service. We, and most of my family, have eaten there for years. When my sisters and their families visit us from out of state, that's the first place we go when we want to eat out.

AM-A-ZING Italian food! Never go to Olive Garden again! They cook fresh, not frozen, and have the best chix parm I have had in about 15 years! Small establishment and kind of pricey but you get what you pay for. The food is amazing!

Oh my what a great experience! Our Valentine's Day Dinner was AMAZING! We had their Valentine's Day special - Chicken Parmigiana! My favorite! TOTALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Not quite sure if tonight is a normal thing but it took a few minutes shy of an hour to get our food to us from the time we ordered. The 30 minute wait was expected being that they do not accept reservations. So, if you sit by the door, you have to feel the draft from the people standing in the doorway with the doors open. Food: I think it was overpriced, myself. I ordered an Italian sandwich, which was lackluster at best. Looking at the other plates on the table, the portions don’t match the price. The famous salad was over talked. Iceberg lettuce with their Italian dressing on it. Oh, and two pepperoni slices. The pizza did look good. Maybe that is why it is so busy. I’ll have to order that the next time I am in town. The place is loud and dark. Service was pretty good and we got a “sorry” on the way out. The A game definitely needs to be stepped up.

You haven't lived until you have had a Buddy's salad. Share one, they are huge. Best house made olive oil based salad dressing anywhere. The sandwiches are good too. I love the open faced Canadian bacon and provolone.

Great service at the bar; bartender sat to talk with us. Felt like old friends. Pizza was good and we enjoyed our food and fellowship.

The best Italian food in poky. Buddy's salad is good, but is covered in their dressing and can get soggy if you don't eat it fast enough. The cheesy garlic bread is awesome, and the main course is some good homemade Italian.

The service was very good. My mister really enjoyed his fettuccine alfredo, the cheesy garlic bread and salad. I didn't like my spaghetti. I'll stick to pizza next time.

There were 10 of us. Half were little ones. The service was excellent!! We had three full meals with desserts. We had so much food we shared the salads, bread and desserts and still had left overs! Again, the service was great!!!

I thought I had given Buddy’s a 5 Star Review before but google let me know I hadn’t. Well Buddy’s is my favorite restaurant. I am from Provo Utah and have driven the 3 hours just to eat here. Luckily I have friends in Pocatello and am able to visit a couple time a year. My favorite is the salad, the dressing is so good! It is probably the best version of that type of salad ever made. Thank you Buddy’s!

They have the BEST salad anywhere. You have to love a very strong flavored salad with garlic and blue cheese. Make sure you and your partner both eat it because it will leave your breath very stinky. The salad is so good and so big that I'm usually nearly full. The pizza, pasta and calzones are great as well.

Buddy's waitresses always remembers us in person and over the phone by my voice & name. They have tremendous great prices. There Buddy's salad is to die for.

It was our 7th yr. Anniversary and our first waitress made sure my wife and I were taken care of before her shift was over. The food as usual was very very good.

I love the old school vibe here, it's been this way since I was a kid. Now that I'm all growed up, I am able to order my own cheesy garlic bread and not have to share it with anyone. That is heaven. Best sauce ever, too.

Oh so good! Their food never disappoints! Very clean, great atmosphere!

No masks on servers. No table separations. Quick spray and wipe of tables between customers. Food was okay. But eat at your own risk. My risk level is high so won't be going back.

Soggy salads! way too much dressing, stuffed into a box like Chinese take out. Gross. Spent almost 50 bucks on 2 salads and one sandwich. They may have been in business for too long. Need a revamp.

Fun family restaurant with a VERY garlic signature salad (which I love). The fettuccini Alfredo was good. It is fairly tight in the eating area and it can be quite loud at busy hours, but the food is great. It is not the best choice for a date if you want a quiet romantic evening and want to talk. A great place if you love great food and garlic breath!

Never go through Pocatello without stopping at Buddy's. Been going here for 25+ years. Oh the salad - but be prepared to share!

Visiting from out of state. Sign made us want to eat there. Great food. Awesome staff. My son left his wallet on the table as we left. A few moments later Chase Bank called him to tell him he had left his wallet at Buudys. The server called the number on his credit card. The bank called my son. Great service by everyone.

Delicious and great service. I loved it!

It took a very very long time to see our waitress. I ordered a meatball sub. Some cheese would have been nice with the price. Especially for the size that it is. The meatballs were very comparable to the ones that I have had at Subway. Way too dark inside and very loud. The salad is the only thing I can say I really enjoyed.

Everytime we pass through idaho we detour to Pocatello to eat here. I've been going here since I was little and visiting my Grandparents in pocatello. My dad grew up eating here and it's always been our favorite pizza. He lives in wyoming now and my parents always take a day every few months to travel to have their pizza. We love their salad and pizza. It's always so yummy. Best pizza I've ever had. I love the sauce so much. This is place I will eventually bring my kids too.

Had an excellent Italian meal at Buddy's on our way through town last week. Great rigotoni, delicious salad (that dressing was crack) and they had several veggie entree options. My dad had a giant bowl of spaghetti with meatballs in a classic red sauce. Looked tasty but he couldn't eat it all. This place has been around for a long time and from what I could tell serves up reliable, classic Italian dishes. Decent selection of draft beers and wines as well.

Best Italian food with phenomenal service. Been eating there for over 30 years and never had less than a very satisfying experience. Steve and his staff work very hard to make sure your meal is fabulous.

I love this place!!! The pizza is delicious. It is a bit pricey, but it is worth the price. The sauce and salad flavors are one of a kind, but are delicious.

This place is HEAVEN. They make better Italian than any toher place, and their sauce is what convinced me to like salads. I live a healthier life because of this place.

Always our go to when we visit Pocatello. We have been coming here for 20+ years. We love that we can buy Buddys salad dressing to take back to Boise. Its help us with our Buddys cravings. Bring Buddys back to Boise!

18 year's since I left Pocatello. Met up with old friends here for lunch. Salad and Italian sausage sandwich. As good as I remembered 😁.

Have not been in pocatello in over 15 years. One of the first places I wanted to eat was buddy's. Stepped in the door to find it looks the same as the last time I saw it. The owner is the same and some of the staff is the same. Got a large order of the amazing salad. Got a delicious chicks special and an order of garlic cheese bread. Omg it was amazing and still the best Italian ever.

I have always enjoyed their food, at this time they are not practicing any of social distancing, and no one other than myself were wearing a mask, including waitresses.. The place is a small place and there were a lot of people in the restaurant. I was picking up a to go order but was concerned that they did seem to be concerned for the patrons, or their staff.
